Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis says it hopes to hold
talks with the Stamford Bridge regarding claims Blues signing Edinson Cavani,
Napoli striker. Cavani future has been the subject of speculation for some
time.
Uruguayan national team players to be one of the most sought
after players in Europe. Some clubs such as Chelsea, Manchester City, Real
Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain have interest in Cavani relationship rumors.
De Laurentiis really hope to keep Cavani remain at Napoli.
He asserted that Cavani for Napoli is intended as an asset and not concerned
with the money, although there are a few clubs willing to pay dearly.
"The budget for the transfer window will have a policy
in relation to the financial rules of Napoli," De Laurentiis told Radio
Marte and quoted by Sky Sports, Friday, June 7, 2013. "If Cavani sold then
I would reinvest all valued at 53 million pounds sterling for his release
clause."
De Laurentiis added, "There is interest from Chelsea,
they will call me within the next few hours. I would be happy if Cavani Napoli
remain in, if not, then we will replace and look for the other Cavani's
caliber. "
